Kunal Singh, Co-founder
Kunal has been involved in India’s growing Infrastructure finance industry and has developed particular expertise in market access and international growth. As head of strategy at Vijeta Ltd, Kunal helped build the firm's real estate business through property acquisitions and new projects.
Kunal has in-depth knowledge of the emerging markets real estate landscape and brings a deep rolodex of contacts and strong relationships across Southeast Asia. He has executed over $150 million in projects and joint-ventureships with large private companies, public sector units and the Indian Ministry of Defense.
Kunal has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and is currently enrolled an M.S graduate studies at Stanford University.
Isaac Asiamah, Co-founder
Product Development and Operations
Isaac is the head of Product Development and Operations. In his role he leads the Company’s effort to design and build exciting products and workflow processes. He also focuses on the integration of client and market data.
Prior to Darwynn, Isaac worked in the Trading Technology Group of Credit Suisse where he was involved in analyzing and designing solutions for firm-wide financial applications as a Business Analyst.
Prior to Credit Suisse, Isaac was engaged in a number of roles involving the development of Enterprise Data analytics and Risk Management platforms at Thomson Reuters in New York.
Isaac offers a broad knowledge base that ranges from finance to software development, which is key when it comes to implementation.
In addition to a BA in Economics/Mathematics and minor in Computer Science, Isaac also has an M.S in Engineering from Stanford University.
Investor Strategy and Outreach
Ashby is in Charge of Investor Strategy and Outreach. He is also the Executive Director of Stanford University's Global Projects Center and doubles as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford.
Dr. Monk has a strong track record of academic and industry publications. His research and writing has been featured in The Economist, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Institutional Investor, Reuters, Forbes, and on National Public Radio among a variety of other media. His current research focus is on the design and governance of institutional investors, with particular specialization on pension and sovereign wealth funds.
He received his Doctorate in Economic Geography at Oxford University and holds a Master's in International Economics from the Universite de Paris I - Pantheon Sorbonne and a Bachelor's in Economics from Princeton University.
In 2013, Ashby was named among the most influential academics in the institutional investing world by Asset International-Chief Investment Officer.
